Warner Leisure Hotels recently installed free-to-use Rolec EV charging points at all of its hotels throughout the UK. The charging points will allow Warner’s guests with electric vehicles to charge their vehicle during their stay to allow a safe journey home.

Rolec managing director Kieron Alsop comments: “Warner chose the Rolec AutoCharge pedestal due to its future-proof design, which enables it to be installed initially as a free-to-charge solution while being easily upgradable at a later date to incorporate one of our pay-to-charge solutions – such as the EV Charge Online network.”

Alsop continues: “EV Charge Online is growing by the day, with hundreds of public facing charging points already part of the network. We expect there to be thousands more within the next 12 months.

“Hosts who implement our EV Charge Online system are able to allow EV drivers to pay-to-charge via mobile phone, using secure payment platforms such as PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.”

Mat Finch, marketing director for Warner Leisure Hotels, adds: “Our guests are seeking modern alternatives such as electric vehicles and we want to make sure that we are offering a service that facilitates this. We are very pleased with the Rolec charge points; it’s a new, exciting direction for Warner and our guests.”
