GreenBrook Is Over-Flowing With Ideas For ED&I

Exhibiting on Stands 110, 111, 112, GreenBrook Electrical will have a major presence at the UK’s new national electrical trade show, ED&I.

Held at the NEC in Birmingham, on September 6-7 and sponsored by the Electrical Contractors’ Association, the show delivers a diverse show floor as well as important learning experiences.

GreenBrook’s new Lynx Range of LED Slimline Floodlights will be on display, highlighting the product’s high quality finish with an elegant design die cast body and tempered glass. The range consists of 10W – 100W fittings in black or white, with or without PIR – all with a beam angle of 120° and a lumen output of 100lm/W all rated IP65 and ideal for installation in both domestic and commercial properties.

For maximum electrical safety, the electronics inside have been encapsulated for additional protection. Manufactured with an LED array instead of a single chip, this allows the powerful light to spread and appear less intense to the eye. The products are also fitted with cooling fins to assist heat dissipation and increase life expectancy.

The maker says the products are easy to install and offer an ideal low energy alternative to a Xenon flood – the fittings have a mounting bracket that allows the product to rotate 360° so it can be positioned at the required angle.

Peter Ratcliffe, sales director, says: “This unit of one of the best quality I have seen on the market – a really nice design that looks and performs high-end without breaking the bank.”

GreenBrook will also be highlighting a new range of weatherproof accessories, the PowerBreaker ProteKt range, to provide high levels of safety and practicality in both commercial and domestic applications.

The maker says the PowerBreaker ProteKt range has been designed to offer the highest levels of protection against the ingress of water and solid matter (IP66) to provide safe and efficient electrical connections in even the most arduous conditions.

The range is suitable for use in industrial environments, such as wash down areas, as well as in a whole host of commercial areas and around the home. The family includes single, twin and PowerBreaker RCD sockets, single and twin switches, timers and fused spurs.

PowerBreaker ProteKt enclosures also feature a spring loaded hinge to ensure the lid closes and the guided fixing holes are isolated in a weatherproof chamber, eliminating the requirement for sealing screw entries, saving time for the installer. Replaceable knockouts allow easy reconfiguration of installation.

GreenBrook has also relaunched its popular brand of Powerbreaker RCDs by increasing the range to offer what it says is now the most comprehensive selection of RCD safety products on the market. Vibrant new packaging and a new brochure detailing the range of 10mA, 30mA, Active & Passive products entitled ‘A Guide to Electrical Safety’ will be available at the show.

ED&I will also be the platform to promote GreenBrook’s new VELA Compact range of LED Dimmable Fire Rated Downlights which offer a low profile, only 40mm and allow the insulation to be laid directly over the fitting. This has been tested and verified in the Lighting Industry Association’s Test Laboratory.

Available in Fixed and Tilt options, 3,000k & 4,000K, the fittings are offered in matt white, polished chrome and satin chrome finishes.

Rated IP65 and including a dimmable LED driver, these 7W fittings offer a 55° beam angle and a lumen output of 89lm/W.

Peter says: “We are really excited about these new Vela Compact downlights, these products are ideal for installing in ceilings voids with restricted space and are already going down a storm in the market.”
