Super Rod And Klein Tools Shine At CEF Live

CEF

Cable routing manufacturer Super Rod and US tools brand Klein Tools were among the stars of the show at this year’s CEF Live event held at the NEC in Birmingham.

The event, which ran from 8th-9th June, was an opportunity for CEF suppliers to meet with the wholesaler’s customers, electrical installers and apprentices. Over 45 suppliers participated in the event. Super Rod, the UK distributor for Klein Tools, created a dual display stand to present both cable routing and hand tools to the show’s visitors, with a number of hands on demonstrations to give installers the chance to ‘try before you buy’.

Many of the products on the stand were available with ‘on the day’ offers, for CEF live visitors that attended the show. TV celebrity Billy Byrne was also at the event interviewing suppliers and presenting installers with prizes. Throughout the three-day event, Klein Tools gave away over £2,000 worth of prizes to lucky winners.

Klein Tools, available exclusively at CEF, had event discounts on its tool bag sets and amazing value combi packs for its most popular hand tools. With every Klein Tools purchase, customers also received a special scratchcard guaranteeing a prize every time, from t-shirts and caps to drinks coolers and barbecues.

As well as the serious business of demonstrating and selling tools, there was also a bit of fun for visitors to the Super Rod and Klein Tools stand. The Gekko Gripper game saw installers competing to thread a nylon cable around a special racetrack using the Gekko Gripper magnet set, which is normally used to thread cables in awkward spaces. The installers with the winning times from both the morning and afternoon sessions received a Klein Tools MM2300A test meter worth over £170 for their efforts!

Malcolm Duncan, managing director of Super Rod and Klein Tools, comments: “This year’s CEF Live was a fantastic success for Super Rod and Klein Tools. We always enjoy getting out and meeting our customers to get their feedback on our products and how they are helping them to work smarter. During the show, the stand was particularly popular with installers and apprentices looking to try out some of our new products for themselves.”
