Makita launches Breast Cancer Care drill

To raise further funds Makita will be launching a new limited edition drill, available from 21st October, and has pledged to donate £5.00 for every one sold. The selected product is a pink version of the DF330D Li-ion, 10.8V drill driver – complete with one 1.3Ah Li-ion battery, fast charger, drill bit set and bag – which is popular with professional construction workers and, with its small and compact size, ideal for DIYers who want to get busy around the home. The recommended retail price is £84.99 inc. VAT and every sale will mean £5.00 is donated to Breast Cancer Care.

‘We have every confidence of strong sales of the limited edition drill, through our recognised network of stockists, helping us to reach our goal for the charity,’ said Kevin Brannigan, marketing manager, Makita UK. ‘With almost 50,000 people diagnosed with breast cancer each year nearly all of us know someone whose life has been touched in this way.’
