Indigo Distribution has announced that it has been appointed as a distributor for Rako’s line-up of smart lighting solutions. That includes both wireless and wired lighting control solutions from the manufacturer, which should complement Indigo’s existing range of automation products – like ELAN.
As part of the agreement between the two companies, Indigo Distribution is adding the Rako range to its System Design app, while it will also be joining the recently-announced loyalty programme. That gives dealers up to 10% cashback on their purchases, as well as free shipping for those managing to reach the top two tiers.
Rako’s line-up of products is extensive. That’s because the firm not only offers control panels and cover plates, but it also goes further with control modules and racks. A number of interfaces and accessories are also available from the smart home firm, allowing for a complete smart lighting solution.
While Rako products have gained popularity in the smart home sector, thanks to the ease of installation and the adoption of technologies such as Alexa, HomeKit and Google Home, the company’s products can also be used in commercial buildings. That includes bars and restaurants, hotels, boardrooms, offices, conference facilities, retail, churches, and schools and universities.
