Rexel hits the road at this year’s Solar Power Portal Roadshow

Each year, the dedicated solar technology tour sees industry experts visit six locations around the country, welcoming installers, local authorities and commercial energy buyers to gain a better insight about the technology and the direction of the UK solar market. The remit is to enable networking and knowledge exchange that will ultimately benefit everyone involved and help the industry grow.

The events will be held between March and early April in key cities around the UK, including Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Cardiff and London.

Rexel UK will be showcasing the latest products and techniques that are set revolutionise businesses’ service offering. In particular, Rexel will showcase the Energeasy Solar portal and Energeasy Drive, an online platform dedicated to electric vehicles and charging, with members of the team on hand to answer any questions.

Steve Everard at Rexel UK explains: ‘We are delighted to be partnering with the Solar Power Portal at this year’s roadshow, especially with such uncertainty around the solar market. We see the events as an opportunity for businesses, installers and other stakeholders to find out how they can gain from their investment into solar technology, and gain a better insight about what’s next for the sector.

“We will also use the show to discuss other revenue opportunities that installers can add to their portfolio, such as electric vehicle charging and LED, and how Rexel can help.’

‘We invite installers and organisations to join us at one of the roadshows and participate in the knowledge share and discussions that are likely to help shape the future of the UK solar industry.’
