The new distribution deal will allow YESSS Electrical to stock and sell all three key products: the 3rd generation Nest Thermostat, Nest Protect and Nest Cam in all of its 90 stores and online.
The 3rd generation Nest Learning Thermostat learns the home temperature favoured by the user, then programs itself. It knows how long it takes to heat the home, ensuring it reaches a comfortable temperature by the time the homeowner wakes up. Once the home is vacated, it then turns itself down to save energy. As part of the product update, the Nest Thermostat is now also able to control the hot water tank. Crucially, the Nest Thermostat can be controlled remotely and energy usage and savings can be monitored via the Nest App.
Also newly available from YESSS Electrical is the second generation of Nest Protect, an advanced smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarm, which provides spoken alerts on what and where the problem is. It can even send alerts to a mobile phone via the Nest app when something’s wrong.
In addition, looking to capitalise on the growing home security market, YESSS will also sell Nest Cam, a security camera which offers full high-definition (1080p) video quality, a versatile stand, and improved motion alerts and night vision, enabling people to keep an eye on what they care about from any location.
