Gibbons Engineering Group apprentice wins award

Zach was described as ‘a delight to teach’ and ‘a very diligent and able learner’ while receiving praise for having ‘a positive influence on his peers’ from his tutor.

Zach, 23, joined the Gibbons engineering team as an apprentice in June 2013 and during his two years with us has established himself as a highly-skilled and popular colleague. His course at Colchester Institute saw Zach complete all his knowledge units and pass the AM2 practical assessment. He is about to complete the full apprenticeship framework by finishing his NVQ.

Following the completion of his course, we’re delighted to offer Zach a permanent position here in accordance with our long-standing apprenticeship policy.
