British fan Manufacturer Manrose recognised for apprenticeships

Manrose is committed to UK manufacturing and local employment which is illustrated through its ongoing expansion of its manufacturing facilities.

Chris Gibbs, operations director at Manrose, said ‘Manrose is a  successful, growing company. Core to this success  is our staff. We are therefore delighted to receive this award from Key Training, which is recognition of our success with Apprenticeships within both our Reading and Slough facilities.’

Chris was presented with a  commemorative plaque at the Manrose offices in Slough on Monday, 11th May 2015, by Jenny Hyam business development manager from Key Training Limited.

Jenny Hyam said: ‘We partner with many businesses on their training programmes in the UK and it is wonderful when a company shows such dedication by investing in both its existing staff and also by providing local young people with an employment opportunity.’

The staff at Manrose have found the Adult Apprenticeships to be a useful programme. Emily Howes, Procurement Manager commented: ‘Doing my Apprenticeship broadened my knowledge in many different aspects of business and provided me with access to higher education.’
