Are you ready for Amendment 3?

Alan Wells, technical and standards director at Certsure, which operates the NICEIC and ELECSA brands, said: ‘Failure to adhere to the new standards could result in legal action if the work is deemed not to comply with the revised standard.’

It will also be a requirement for all NICEIC and ELECSA registered contractors to hold a copy of the current wiring regulations after 30th June 2015.

To help contractors NICEIC and ELECSA are hosting a free 3rd Amendment webinar between 9am and 10am on Thursday 23rd July. Chaired by Tony Cable and Darren Staniforth the webinar will cover some of the key changes contained within Amendment 3.

NICEIC and ELECSA stock a full range of updated 3rd Amendment products. Contractors can purchase all updated publications including the new British Standard, NICEIC site guide and the full series of guidance notes.

If you need any further information on the changes or additional up-skilling, don’t forget you can complete the 3rd Amendment Online Training Course.
