Thorn upgrades Cetus downlight range with LED

Kevin Thompson, Thorn global product manager, says, ‘Exceeding building regulation requirements with 80Llm/W performance, Cetus LED is available in two lumen outputs – 1 000lm consuming only 13W or 2 000lm consuming only 25W. It is a direct replacement of traditional 1x26W or 2x26W compact fluorescent downlights, allowing energy savings of up to 65 per cent. When used for 10 hours daily, five days a week, Cetus LED offers a hassle-free lifetime of up to 13 years. With an overall height of just 88mm, Cetus LED is ideal for installation into low and restricted ceiling voids without compromising light quality.’

Cetus LED offers a choice of 3000K warm white or 4000K cool white colour temperatures to suit various applications. It is also sealed to IP44 as standard to make it suitable for use in bathrooms without the need for separate attachments.

Cetus LED with remote driver is easy to install, tool-free, directly out of the box. An integral three hour emergency option further reduces installation time and complexity.
