Electrium supports LFB 17th Edition safety lobby

The 3rd amendment is to be published in January 2015 and is expected to include a new requirement for non combustible enclosures for consumer units after London Fire Brigade recorded statistics showing that the number of incidents of fire involving consumer units has increased rapidly to around five incidents per week.

Since then, London Fire Brigade have been working with Electrical Safety First, BEAMA and other industry organisations to include in the 3rd amendment requirements that will improve safety in the home and reduce the consequent risk of fire.

Electrium will be able to supply product to meet this new requirement to early adopters of this important safety standard from January 2015.
