The national training provider has effectively weathered the difficult recessionary years and in 2013-14 has shown growth of over 11 per cent, as well as a significant improvement in market share for apprenticeship training in electrical installation and maintenance, plumbing, heating and ventilating and engineering maintenance.
Key to this success has been achievement rates for apprentices that are some six per cent ahead of the national average and provide employers with reliable assurances on timely completions.
With a staff of some 250 across England and Wales, JTL has partnerships with many further education colleges as well as having premises of its own in Birmingham, Norwich, Orpington and Tankersley near Barnsley.
The new CEO will oversee the development of the business strategy as well as making a major contribution to industry training issues at both a national and regional level. JTL is a registered charitable company and is looking to grow and develop, building upon current success.

The continued development of the business will be achieved through a combination of good leadership, strategic insight and quality delivery.’
The appointed individual is expected to take up the position in the early part of the New Year.
