Electricians insure free P-touch labelling with Chaucer

The initiative launches this month and will enable electricians and other selected tradespeople to get their hands on a complimentary electronic labeller (worth £39.99 excluding VAT), after purchasing or renewing their employers’ public and product liability insurance policy.

Qualifying tradespeople will be offered a free P-touch E100, which is portable, lightweight and ideal for people on the go. It can produce heat, chemical and water resistant adhesive labels for wires and equipment, in a variety of colours, widths and lengths.

Mike Kelly, head of category identification at Brother UK, commented, ‘Just as having the right insurance protection is vital for tradespeople, a professional labelling device like P-touch is often an indispensable addition to an electrician’s toolbox.’

Four of Chaucer’s largest brokers are getting involved in the campaign, including Blackfriars Insurance Brokers, CETA Insurance and F Wilson (Insurance Brokers) T/A Quoteline Direct.

Chaucer’s Stuart Dickinson, divisional head – UK Commercial, said, ‘P-touch is a useful gadget used by many people in the trade, so this joint initiative is a great way to reward our loyal customer base.’

The initiative follows P-touch’s successful partnership with Tradeskills4U, targeting people embarking on electrical and renewable energy training, which finishes at the end of July.
