Sudlows is the power behind Vertex success

Sudlows has secured a £130,000 electrical contract with leading global customer management outsourcer, Vertex.

This electrical infrastructure upgrade to the Bolton office will help Vertex, which employs 10,000 people in over 70 locations globally and is one of the city’s largest employers, to continue to deliver leading services while reducing its energy usage.

The electrical upgrade includes a complete overhaul of the building’s existing infrastructure and will provide new energy efficient lighting, air conditioning, amendments to the mains power and LV (low voltage) distribution, security and access systems upgrade along with commissioning of the latest UPS technology.

John Osborne, electrical manager at Sudlows, commented, ‘This is the latest major electrical project we have successfully delivered for Vertex in the UK and this vital upgrade will significantly reduce their total energy usage.’

Amanda Wright, UK operational facilities manager at Vertex, added, ‘Sudlows has been working with Vertex for several years now and were chosen for the upgrade work to our Bolton office due to their expertise and service delivery. Once completed, the power upgrade will provide the office with the latest electrical infrastructure and help reduce our energy use.’
