British racing duo full throttle with new sponsor
NAPIT has formally announced it has agreed a sponsorship deal with the high performance Birchall Racing Team.
Mansfield brothers Ben and Tom Birchall, the 2009 World Motorcycle Sidecar Champions, are currently in the middle of the racing season and gearing up as serious contenders to regain their world title this year – and will be racing in the next 2011 World Championships meeting at Oschersleben in Germany on August 28th.Martin Bruno, chief operating officer of NAPIT said, ‘World class motorcycle sidecar racing is an exciting sport and has thousands of fans across the globe, while it attracts media coverage locally and national- so what better place for us to promote NAPIT?
‘We are especially delighted, however, to be supporting a Nottinghamshire sporting success in the Birchall brothers and we look forward to seeing them in pole position as they compete in Britain and abroad. We will, of course, be cheering them on and the whole NAPIT team will be willing them to win in the World Championships this month.’
The Birchall Brothers will be back in action over the bank holiday weekend of August 27/28 for the next round of the World championship in Oschersleben, Germany for the penultimate round of the championship where they currently hold third place after scooping 60 points at the recent Cadwell Park meeting.
