Niko starts its Home Control training
Niko has announced the commencement of its training programme for electricians and installers; teaching them how to install and programme the next generation of electrical installation – Niko Home Control.Launched in February at the international ISE Show in Amsterdam, Niko Home Control will be available from August, and planning for the first wave of projects is already underway.
Niko Home Control is the next generation of electrical installation. It enables householders to operate all functions in their home from one central location, at the same time as monitoring – and therefore possibly reducing – their energy consumption. In addition, Niko Home Control also helps to create a safer and more comfortable living environment.
The training programme will be delivered at Niko UK’s centrally located headquarters in Toddington, Bedfordshire. It takes just a day for a qualified electrician or installer to learn how to install and programme a Niko Home Control system.
‘Niko Home Control is a superb new concept,’ said Niko UK sales director, Stephen Calder. ‘It is an electrical installation that gives householders the means of controlling the energy consumption of their home intelligently. It informs them what individual pieces of equipment are consuming in the home enabling them to make clear choices about what to turn off – and when.’
The training takes just one day and is available free of charge to qualifying installers and electricians, with each day beginning at 10.00am and finishing at 4.00pm (with lunch included).
Niko Home Control is available from August 2011.
