NAPIT present innovative consumer unit manufacturers’ panel at ELEX 2016

A specialist panel of industry and manufacturing experts including representatives from Schneider Electric, Contactum, Hager and Chint to name a few, will offer guidance on the new non-combustible consumer units in accordance with regulation changes.

The ‘Full Metal Jacket’ seminars supported by British Electrotechnical and Allied Manufacturers’ Association (BEAMA) and hosted by NAPIT’s Regional Inspections Manager Paul Chaffers, will focus on design including assembly and configuration, installation, locations and containment amongst other issues surrounding the change from plastic to metal consumer units.

NAPIT’s group marketing manager, Jenny Gaunt, who has been working with the panel ahead of the first event, explained: ‘Following our continued work with industry stakeholders in areas such as this, we have been asked to deliver a newly formatted seminar that focuses on industry hot topics from the installers’ perspective.  We are always eager to support all tradespeople and want to encourage them to come along to ‘Ask our Panel’.’
