Hamilton branches out with smart lighting control demonstrations

The Hamilton team and its MDV most recently visited electrical wholesaler BEW Guildford, which was moving to a new location on 23 June 2016. Hamilton headed to BEW’s new store in Slyfield Industrial Estate to celebrate the branch’s move and to help both the wholesaler counter staff and the store’s electrical contractor customers to better understand the benefits of the Mercury Lighting and Multi-Room Audio Control.

Fitted with a fully-working demonstration system, the MDV allowed Hamilton staff to show visitors the simple installation process and how to use the intelligent system, while also discussing ways in which the cutting-edge product could help a contractor’s earning potential.

‘It was great to welcome the Hamilton team and the Mercury Demonstration Vehicle along to the opening of our new branch,’ said BEW Guildford’s branch manager James Blason. ‘The BEW staff and our customers found the experience really useful to get a better understanding of the product and an opportunity to pitch in-depth questions to the Hamilton team. Lighting and audio controls is becoming big business and this was a great way to introduce this model to our staff and customers. We even welcomed the Mayor of Guildford, Councillor Gordon Jackson, who was interested in seeing this latest technology from Hamilton.’

As well as the Mercury Lighting and Multi-Room Audio Control system, the MDV also features Hamilton’s circuit protection options and sample plates from its vast portfolio of switch plate & socket designs to illustrate its wide-ranging product offering.

Hamilton’s MDV also recently visited KEW Electrical in Shaftesbury, Dorset, and is available to attend other wholesaler events and trade days with its next trip being to the Wiltshire Trade Show on 21 July 2016, held at Trowbridge Rugby Club.
