Hager recalls specific Miniature Circuit Breakers references

As a precautionary measure Hager has decided to recall specific Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB) references from the market – including ones already installed.

Hager Quality System has detected a raw material non-conformity in production. This raw material non-conformity could disturb the correct functioning of certain Hager Miniature Circuit Breaker references produced between 7th July 2016 and 25th September 2016.

For this reason, and to ensure user safety, Hager has made the decision to recall MCBs sold under the references: NBN, NCN, NDN, produced during this critical period, since the products concerned may cause danger of a fire or an electrical shock.

Breakers produced before July 7th and after 25th September are safe.

Installers of the relevant Hager equipment are being asked to check every installation and change the product when necessary.

Safety of customers and end users is Hager’s first priority, for this reason the company is committed to managing this product recall with the help of its wholesaler partners and installers as swiftly as possible.
