Wombourne-based Orton Group has agreed and finalised the acquisition with npower which has seen it welcome 11 members of staff from the Business and Social Housing division, and take on a contract worth £450k.
Andrew Lowe, managing director, explained, ‘This acquisition has come at a really exciting time for the Orton Group, as we celebrate our 25th anniversary in business this year. As part of this, we’re working hard to continue to build on our reputation as a family-run firm with quality, integrity and honesty at its core, but a firm which also has the expertise to continue supporting blue chip clients across the whole of the UK.
‘We’re delighted to have welcomed these newest members of the team to the Orton family. We have 61 full-time members of staff plus over 100 remote workers, and the expansion of our team forms an important part of our growth strategy. I’m very much looking forward to working with the whole Orton team to support our new and existing clients across the months and years to come.’
To service the contracts and to support these newest members to the firm, Orton Group has opened a dedicated new office on the Washford Industrial Estate in Redditch, and has taken delivery of a number of new vehicles to join its current fleet.
