Get up to speed with the latest training opportunities

The 76 page booklet features the largest collection of courses including those offered by the Electrical Contactors’ Association (ECA) and certification body NQA.

Alan Charlton, head of training, commented, ‘We are committed to providing the best and most useful training programmes available.

‘All of the courses are developed and delivered by leading industry experts whose wealth of knowledge and experience ensures the training is clear, manageable and relevant.

‘Each course is specifically designed to help individuals develop their skills and broaden their knowledge base.’

New sections of the prospectus include Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting, Business Improvement and Business Support. In addition, new courses such as Electric Vehicle Charging and Data Cabling provide contractors with the opportunity to develop skills in new areas to expand their business offerings.

‘The nature of electrical contracting has changed in recent years and more and more firms are looking to diversify their business into new areas,’ added Alan.

‘Whether it’s providing advice around renewable technologies, installing new, hi-tech gadgetry or just offering a range of sustainable solutions there is a requirement on contractors to have the knowledge and skills to deliver these services.

‘We have expanded our range of courses to mirror this change and have continued to develop more traditional electrical based courses such as 17th Edition and safe isolation.’

Many of the courses can now be accessed online – reducing the need to take time off work or as part of a blended option combining online learning with classroom teaching and exams. Electrical contractors registered with either NICEIC, ELECSA or the ECA can also benefit from exclusive discounts.
