Cablofil helps airport project prepare for take off

Cablofil has been specified for the refurbishment of the terminal building at Leeds Bradford Airport.

The Yorkshire Airport is investing in upgrading its terminal building, reconfiguring the internal layout, adding a mezzanine and updating its electrical services.

Cablofil steel wire tray is being used for cable management of all data and structured cabling and for extra low voltage cabling for the fire and security alarm systems. The 300mm steel wire tray is being installed in the ceiling voids.

Malcolm White from Cablofil said, ‘This project is being carried out in a live airport terminal building where business interruption is not an option. The speed and ease with which Cablofil can be installed helps to reduce the installation programme, providing tangible time saving advantages on projects like this while offering a durable and practical cable management solution.’
