acdc welcomes Royal visitor

On the day, HRH Duke of Kent received a short presentation by the board of directors and was given a guided tour of Innovation Works giving an insight into how acdc products are conceived and developed.

The visit concluded in the Linear Room with a demonstration of the company’s new Potting system and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque to officially open the newly refurbished manufacturing site.

HRH was extremely impressed with the state-of-the art facilities on the shop floor and clearly enjoyed chatting with staff. He described the facility as ‘absolutely fascinating’ and wished acdc every success in the future.

Commenting on the visit, CEO Gareth Frankland said, ‘This visit is happening as recognition of our position in the marketplace and represents the hard work of everyone at acdc. It’s a real opportunity for us to celebrate our success and the major steps we have all taken as a company.’
