ECA’s Power Players Finalists Announced

The future of the industry

Four young professionals from across the engineering and electrotechnical industry have been announced as the finalists for this year’s Power Players initiative. George Antino (T Clarke), Harry Bartle (Chris Bowker Ltd), Charlie Harwood (City Electrical Factors) and Joseph Wu (T Clarke) are all in the running to win the initiative, and will now face the public vote.

Power Players is an initiative aimed at recognising leading figures in the younger generation of the industry. The programme was introduced by ECA in collaboration with a range of industry partners and supporters.

Entrants were able to submit short videos describing something innovative or inspirational that they had achieved. The Power Players finalists were shortlisted earlier this year after an independent judging process.

“Many congratulations to the four remaining contenders, who have deservedly been shortlisted for the final by the Power Players judges,” comments head judge and ECA head of technical, Steve Martin.

“I urge the entire industry to vote for their preferred entry by visiting the Power Players website to watch the four videos and make your selection.”

The public vote is open until Tuesday 5 September — to watch the videos and vote, visit www.eca.co.uk/microsites/power-players/view-entry-videos. The two winners will be announced at this year’s ED&I Expo on Wednesday 6 September.
