Legrand to Showcase Portfolio of Innovative Solutions At ED&I Expo 2017

Legrand will showcase a wide range of options at ED&I

From eye-catching and innovative wiring devices through to state-of-the-art power distribution and cable management, Legrand, global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures, says it will be showcasing its expansive product portfolio for electrical professionals at the Electrical Design and Install Expo (ED&I Expo).

The exhibition takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, on September 6-7, register to attend for free here.

Visitors to Stand 113 can take the opportunity to experience for themselves the full breadth of Legrand’s offering as well as seek advice, learn about the latest trends and pick up installation tips from its specialist teams.

For those looking for power distribution options, Legrand will be displaying a selection of its popular Zucchini busbar range, as well as its market leading Electrak underfloor to workstation power solutions.

The company will also be showcasing its new Zucchini distribution fuse board tap-off, specifically designed to meet the space-saving demands of urban high-rise developments. The compact board also reduces installation time on site thanks to its plug-in solution, eliminating the need for separate tap-offs and wall mounted fuse boards.

Also making its debut on stand is the new Electrak in-desk module, which the maker says is the perfect addition to its powertrack, floor boxes and grommets range. With a sleek and functional design, the new in-desk module comes prewired to reduce installation time and sits discretely within the desk surface – to bring power, data and rapid USB charging capability to the workplace.

Get smart

With smart home technology being highly sought after by consumers, Legrand will be demonstrating how this presents an opportunity for installers to easily upskill. The stand will showcase a range of intelligent devices and functions, including door entry, lighting, audio and blind control – all of which are simple to install, programme and use. A wide range of stylish wiring accessories will also be on display.

In addition, those interested in cable management can explore Legrand’s Swifts, Salamandre and Cablofil ranges, which have all been developed to offer the installer a whole host of time-saving features that make their job easier. The cable management team will be demonstrating fast-fit tips on stand for the duration of the show, highlighting the company’s ‘Faster by Design’ ethos.

The latest brand to be acquired by Legrand – CP Electronics – will also be present on stand with the launch of its new mid-range presence detector, EBDMR, and its RAPID scene control system. These new products bring together its complete range of lighting control solutions for specifiers, lighting designers, contractors and facilities managers.

Mark Evans, marketing director at Legrand, says: “ED&I Expo is the perfect platform for us to showcase our expanding portfolio of products to prospective customers, while also reinforcing our position as the go-to experts for all things electrical.

“What’s great about the stand is that it actively encourages visitors to interact with the products and enables them to see how Legrand’s expertise can be applied across a range of different projects, large or small. From long-standing favourites, through to brand new products, we’ve got a vast range on display and we’re looking forward to showing what Legrand has to offer.”
