Ventola Projects ends the year on a high

Whether it has been a good year or a bad one, people everywhere are preparing to bid farewell to 2016 and welcome in 2017. Mick Ventola, managing director of Ventola Projects is one of these people, and this year he will be saying goodbye to a year which has comprised success, prosperity and even a completed royal project!

2017 has seen Mick and his team carry out a number of prestigious projects.
Earlier this year, Aida Leisure, a facility at the royal palace of Sheikh Al Thani in Doha, brought Ventola Projects onboard to design, manufacture and install high end lighting systems in both the facility itself and the on site bowling alley. Ventola installed its innovative VAvR LED lighting range which provided a better functioning and aesthetically pleasing system. While the Ventola team were out there, Mick also secured a number of other projects which he will carry out in the Middle East, in the New Year.

On home turf Ventola Projects furthered its reputation around Leicestershire and wider locations carrying out work for a number of well known establishments and brands. The company spent time in

to transform one of its function rooms. Situated within the wider entertainment centre, The City Pavillion, there was a need to maintain high standards of exciting lighting to mirror the thrill of the complex. Using the VAvR the Ventola team succeeded at devising an exciting lighting solution which perfectly captured the excitement that buzzes around the alley.

Making Friends

Ventola also took on the task of rewiring and installing electrical fittings to one of Oakham’s oldest buildings. The Friends Quaker Meeting House required the removal of existing electrical wiring, lighting and heating and was replaced with electric heating, hot water and LED lighting solutions using Ventola’s CLS-LED Luxo 6 range.

As well as focusing on the progression of his own business, Mick is equally as concerned with raising the profile and supporting other like-minded companies, regularly sponsoring regional business awards – something he is doing once again with the 2017 Leicester Mercury Business Awards. He will be throwing his support behind the Small Business of the Year category.

Progress

With a busy year nearly behind him and an exciting year soon to be upon him, Mick commented, ‘2016 will certainly be going down in Ventola history! I am extremely pleased with the progress we have made this year, and the phenomenal projects we have achieved. The Doha project is a great compliment to the business and has heightened our international reputation. My hopes are high that 2017 will even outdo 2016 as far as workload goes, as we have multiple projects lined up across the Middle East alone!

‘Another highlight of the year for me and my team was winning the Best Business category at the English Italian Awards in September. This was an extremely proud moment for Ventola Projects and it truly showcased how our tireless hard work and efforts have paid off this year.’
