New format announced for NAPIT EXPO 2016

This year’s series of events has increased to ten locations around England and Wales. Presented by NAPIT Trade Association, EXPO 2016 is set to take place between September and November and will take on a more interactive workshop format.

Following the success of last year’s EXPO – which focused on Amendment 3 of the Wiring Regulations – NAPIT have taken on board feedback from attendees and boast an array of relevant industry topics for the new workshops largely based around installation and inspection work.

Each session will be presented by a select panel of industry experts and will cover subjects such as plans for the upcoming 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations, consumer unit developments, certification and smart homes to name a few.

There will be more opportunity to ask questions and get involved in discussions with the experts. There is also set to be interactive product demonstrations, certification codes breakers and details of PV storage solutions.

This year’s supporting partners are yet to be announced but are set to feature manufacturing specialists and guest speakers well known in the industry. They will be joining Chief Executive Mike Andrews who said: ‘Building on the success of last year, we are excited to be taking the EXPO to different areas around the country. With a host of quality guests and speakers we want to maintain the relevance of topics for tradespeople in the industry.’

NAPIT EXPO… On the Road will start out in the city of Worcester and continue the tour by visiting a further nine locations across England and Wales.
