Eaton launches Licensed Panelbuilder Partner Advantage Programme

Specifiers and electrical contractors who work with one of the new partners will benefit from customised switchgear and controlgear solutions, backed by Eaton’s design and engineering expertise.

All the Eaton Licensed Panelbuilder Partner Advantage Programme partners are fully trained to become licensed assemblers for the xEnergy range and rigorously assessed by Eaton to ensure that they meet stringent quality and safety standards.

‘Many individuals prefer to buy switchboards and motor control centres from a local supplier,’ said Jerry Atkinson, sales manager for Eaton, ‘not least because they are easy to deal with, especially if there are specification changes during the build.’

‘However, as well as the ease of local supply, specifiers and electrical contractors also want equipment that is certified and design-verified and, in the past, it has often been difficult to find a local supplier for these. Our new Licensed Panelbuilder Partner Advantage Programme has been developed specifically to address this issue and it will ultimately provide local access to our versatile and cost-effective xEnergy switchgear assemblies throughout the UK.’

The xEnergy system, which is the focus of the new programme, features a readily customisable modular design. It can be used to build both switchboards and motor control centres up to 5000A – soon to rise to 6300A. The xEnergy system offers outstanding flexibility to satisfy immediate demands and to allow for future expansion. It provides additional benefits in terms of exceptional protection for both people and equipment.
