Be wise to Part P protection

For this reason, electrical training expert, Electrician Courses 4U, has introduced a brand new online guide. ‘Part P of the Building Regulations Explained to the Public’ is free to view and download via its dedicated website (www.electriciancourses4u.co.uk).

EC4U’s course provides information and advice for homeowners on the key aspects of Part P and how to ensure Part P compliance. The guide is designed to protect the health and safety of occupants and ensure they comply with their home insurance policy.

‘We believe the government, scheme providers and training centres, such as ourselves, should have a duty of care to raise awareness on the importance of Part P to the public and electricians,’ comments Nigel Best, managing director EC4U. ‘In turn, it educates the public and drives down the percentage of unregistered electricians, as well as bringing up the overall quality of electrical work and reduces the number of injuries and fatalities from faulty electrics. That is in everyone’s best interests.’
