Moss Electrical ‘Wear it Pink’ in 2015

Joanne Madell, group credit manager of Moss, said: ‘This time a year ago one of our colleagues was just completing chemotherapy and ‘going Pink’ was an ideal way to show her our love & support. A few months later she returned to work after successful treatment only for the team to receive news that yet another colleague, my best friend of 20 years, had been diagnosed with the very same disease! That is why I wanted to thank everyone personally, as to see someone you have known, worked with and called a friend for over twenty years, go through something like makes it all the more poignant.

My friend even came in and joined in our fun on Friday, which is amazing as it was less than two weeks after her operation. They have both been so incredibly strong & positive throughout and putting into words how proud I am of them both is easier said than done.

One thing that has been very apparent over the last 15 months is that Moss Electrical staff and management pull together as a family when it counts. The love, concern and support that has been shared has touched all of our hearts and for that I am personally thankful.

So I just want to say a massive thank you to all our suppliers, both on behalf of the team here at Moss but from me personally. Their generous donations enabled us to raise £677 on Friday for such a worthwhile cause.’
