Carl Kammerling celebrates another 25 years of loyal service

Graham began his career in Pwllheli, Wales, working in the warehouse. Shortly afterwards he joined the customer services department which he went on to manage, developing an appreciation of quality hand tools and a thorough understanding of the hand tool market. In 2004, Graham joined the marketing department and he has progressed to become brand manager for C.K tools. He has been based in the Manchester office managing C.K tools for 9 years.

A family-run business, Carl Kammerling prides itself on being a good employer and believes its focus on teamwork and mutual respect helps to make a happy and loyal workforce. The company employs over 82 full time staff members in a variety of roles and boasts an above average service of 13 years, with some choosing to spend their entire careers there.

To mark the occasion, Helen Halpin, chairperson and Arnold Kammerling executive director, treated Graham, his family and a colleague to lunch. Graham was also awarded a gold Carl Kammerling pin and a set of fishing products as a gift.

Managing director, Tom Meyerratken said: ‘I am honoured that Graham has dedicated his career to Carl Kammerling and the company highly appreciates Graham’s contribution to the teams in Wales and Manchester. This adds to a particularly successful year for us, with a number of employees celebrating long-service milestones.’

Speaking of his 25 years at Carl Kammerling, Graham Godfrey said: ‘I am thrilled to have reached this landmark and can look back on a number of happy years working at Carl Kammerling.’
