The Institution of Engineering and Technology to sponsor conference

The event, which takes place on 19th September at the Royal Society of Medicine in London, aims to be one of the leading engineering conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the fields of engineering and technology. Moreover, it serves to foster communication among professionals, researchers, university students. The conference will appeal to professionals from a wide variety of engineering fields including railways, tunnelling, energy and technical copywriting with a common interest in sharing engineering and technology related techniques.

The one-day conference will include talks by industry specialists such as Kate Organ, who will be discussing engineering operations on the Thames Tideway Tunnel project that seeks to protect the tidal River Thames from increasing pollution. Further talks will focus on the High Speed Two (HS2) rail network, technical copywriting for engineers and a presentation on Advanced Energy recovery in the waste to energy sector.
