Gaia warms up Brixton development

The new apartments are heated with a wet underfloor heating (UFH) system installed by Gaia Climate Solutions.

‘We were employed specifically to install the Polypipe UFH by Woodford Heating & Energy which had the main plumbing contract with the housebuilder,’ says Joshua Demetrescu, sales manager with Gaia Climate Solutions.

The project was delivered on a tight schedule and to a high standard of finish, says Joshua. ‘The apartments sold very quickly off-plan and we could not afford any delay to the schedule. Good teamwork ensured a successful completion.’

Steve Abbott, operations director of Woodford Heating & Energy, commented: ‘Gaia gave us great flexibility in their service…showing flexibility and cohesion in their resource planning with changing site conditions and constraints under the pressure of a very demanding programme.’
