Yesss Electrical sponsors cyclist’s challenge

Richard, a member of Dinnington Racing Club, who lives and works in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, is a father of four and runs his own business and yet has found time to fit in this gruelling challenge. His attempt to beat the current record of 2,825km in seven days will take place between 1st and 7th June and will pass through various locations across the North of England, including Maltby, Retford, Barnby Moor and Newark.

Yesss Electrical is the main sponsor for Richard’s record breaking attempt, with riders from Yesss also joining him for stages to help him along the way.
Richard has followed a gruelling training regime to prepare for the event. He said, ‘I’m so excited to be undertaking this 3,000km challenge, although it will be an extreme test of endurance.

‘When I need a boost during the week, I’ll be turning my mind to the incredibly worthwhile charities that I’ve chosen to support during this adventure. All three – Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, Headway Brain Injury Association and CRY Cardiac Risk in the Young – are very close to my heart and do such valuable work. I’m proud to support them.’

Andy Singleton, general manager at Yesss Electrical, said, ‘It’s been a privilege to support Richard in the run up to his record breaking attempt. He’s an incredible cyclist, attempting an amazing feat and we’ll be cheering him on during each of his 3,000km!’
