NAPIT Support Kier and Sheffield City Council on Amendment 3

As part of NAPIT’s ongoing efforts to educate electrical installers on the changes to the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, the seminar provided both organisations with all the required knowledge on Amendment 3.

‘We feel it is vital that local authorities and installers are up to date with the latest changes to the Wiring Regulations,’ said NAPIT regional inspections manager, Michael Collinge. ‘We are currently travelling the country to make sure as many installers have the required knowledge as possible. The seminar was well attended by representatives from both organisations and the engagement from attendees was fantastic.’

Andy Hill, a senior housing officer at Sheffield Council, said: ‘The content of the seminar was exactly what was needed to make sure all relevant contractors know all about Amendment 3. Maintaining our knowledge is key and we are grateful to NAPIT for the opportunity to update us in this suitable seminar format.’

Paul Roddis, electrical compliance team leader at Kier Services, said: ‘For us, the event ticked all the boxes. The presentation covered everything we needed to know on the Wiring Regulations and was delivered in an engaging manner. We’d like to thank NAPIT for their support.’

Installers can attend NAPIT and Megger’s FREE Amendment 3 Seminar Roadshows to get up to date with the latest changes. You can also visit NAPIT EXPO…On the Road for extra advice on everything Amendment 3, from reports and scheduling to in-depth discussions on changes to installation methods.
