Free seminar on how to save money on energy costs and cut carbon emissions

Research shows the City of London has the highest carbon footprint per person in the UK with the average person producing 12.5 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year, some 25 per cent higher than other areas of the UK.

It is with this backdrop that Powerstar is holding a free to attend energy saving Continuing Professional/Personal Development (CPD) seminar in London.

During the seminar, attendees will hear from industry leaders about how, by installing innovative green technologies, in particular voltage optimisation, they can reduce electricity costs as well as CO2 emissions.

Representatives from Powerstar will showcase facilities in the local area including Tower Hamlets Council, London City Hall and Premier Inn facilities that are saving energy and cutting carbon emissions by the technology.

At the seminar, attendees will not only learn about how over voltage and power quality issues could be affecting their bottom line, they will learn how new voltage optimisation technologies can help optimise HV and Low Voltage (LV) supplies and will receive information on the range of commercial and domestic voltage optimisation solutions that are available.

Voltage optimisation is particularly relevant for businesses that suffer from voltage coming into a building at a level higher than required for electrical devices.

With ever increasing energy prices and the City of London’s environmental targets to reduce CO2 emissions by 2025, Powerstar is experiencing unprecedented demand for its range of products, which includes Powerstar, Powerstar MAX and Powerstar HV MAX, which has been established in the market for over two years.

All attendees will be awarded with training certificates and self-assessment forms on completion of the event. A free lunch and prize draw for all attendees will also be provided.

Established for over 13 years, Powerstar is holding the seminar, which starts at 9.30am at The Royal Air Force Museum, Grahame Park Way, London, on the 19th November 2014.
