Rolec offers free 16A and 32A charging points

The offer, which is being subsidised by Rolec under the government’s OLEV Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme, also sees the company continuing to provide its 16A (3.6kW) charging points for free for all customers eligible for the government scheme.

The basic eligibility criteria are that the customer should own or have ordered a plug-in vehicle – or lease/drive a company EV for more than six months.

Rolec business development manager Bianca Orrey commented, ‘We believe Rolec is the only charging point manufacturer offering 32A and 16A charging points, in both tethered lead and charging socket formats, for free.

‘This unique offer will continue until March 2015 or until funding for the scheme runs out.’
Rolec’s free package includes its WallPod HomeCharge unit, a three year GPRS modem data package, full installation and materials, as well as testing and certification.
