Hamilton MDV’s summer of success

Grant & Stone hosted the vehicle’s launch tour at four of its branches between 30th July and 7th August. Hamilton’s aim for the creation and investment in the mobile unit is to give electrical wholesaler staff, customers and clients the opportunity to discover the company’s comprehensive, intelligent, easy to use control solutions along with its high quality switch plate and socket collections – all designed to meet the latest interior trends and harness cutting edge technology.

The first venue on the road show tour dates was Grant & Stone’s High Wycombe branch. Andy Grant, director, Grant & Stone, said, ‘As a longstanding Hamilton Partner, Grant & Stone were delighted to welcome the new Hamilton Mobile Demonstration Vehicle to our High Wycombe branch. The day was a big hit, allowing both branch staff and contractors to experience first hand Hamilton’s out-of-the-box Mercury lighting control and audio system, and the chance to judge for themselves just how easy it is to install. Hamilton’s technical sales team were great, keen to answer questions about installing a system.’

Ian Hamilton, managing director, Hamilton, said, ‘The fact we can now bring our complete range to our customer’s home turf is exciting and beneficial on many levels. It can be challenging to communicate the many benefits our product range offers contractors and end users. Now, with our MDV, we are in a position to highlight the benefits of our Mercury lighting control and audio systems and showcase our comprehensive and inspirational switch plate and socket collections first hand.’

Hamilton MDV is already set for a pre-booked circuit of the South West and North during autumn 2014. Venues include CEF in Kingsbridge on 18th September and Edmundsons in St Austell on 19th September. In November the MDV will feature at NICEIC North on 27th November.
