The Electric Event 2014 – new ‘Amendment 3’ workshop added

The series of ‘Technology Live’ workshops scheduled for Thursday 29th May will now include a new interactive session entitled ‘Amendment 3 Technical Update’. This will look at the changes proposed by BS7671 Amendment 3, the implications for those working in the industry and the steps contractors need to take urgently to ensure compliance.

The Amendment 3 workshop has been scheduled at 13:00-13:15 and again at 15:15-15:30. No booking is required but with high numbers of attendees expected, arrival in good time for the selected session is strongly recommended.

Visitors to the Electric Event are also being advised to drop in on the Employment Hub, an area that is open throughout the three days of the show. It is offering information about a range of topics including ECS cards, apprenticeships, employment standards, JIB company membership and auto-enrolment pension responsibilities.

The Electric Event 2014 aims to provide visitors with an all-embracing 360o exhibition experience taking in keynote addresses, hands-on workshops, displays of the latest products and innovations, networking opportunities and a flamboyant Last-Night Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner.

Full details of the Electric Event 2014, including workshop times, ticket prices and accommodation options, are available on the ECA website www.eca.co.uk
