4Eco announces Mark Group partnership deal

The deal will see 4Eco’s immerSun made easily available to Mark Group (www.markgroup.co.uk) customers each year as part of the installation company’s longstanding solar PV offering.

Developed for commercial and domestic installations, the immerSun is an innovative surplus PV energy controller, designed with ease of use, cost savings and energy efficiency in mind.

Thousands more homeowners across the UK will now be able to save hundreds of pounds every year on their energy bills, as well as increasing self consumption by using more of their own clean, green, self-generated power.

Jodi Huggett, director at 4Eco, said, ‘We’re pleased to announce our new partnership with Mark Group. It’s another great development for us that will allow the immerSun to be installed in more and more properties nationwide.

‘We believe that sustainability is everyone’s business, so by embracing the latest green technologies, homeowners can really make the most of their self-generated power.

‘Since we introduced the immerSun two years ago we have supplied over 14,000 units, with homeowners keen to maximise the financial benefits of having solar PV fitted to their property.’

The deal is a statement of intent from 4Eco early in the new financial year as the business goes from strength to strength following the launch of its next generation immerSun less than six months ago.

Once installed, the immerSun will reduce an average household’s energy bill by around £250 per year, by diverting electricity generated by PV panels directly to the immersion, storage, space or underfloor heating units. Without the controller, the electricity would be exported to the grid, rather than be used to heat water.

The immerSun’s clear LCD display, with easily personalised settings to suit any lifestyle, make it the ideal match for Mark Group’s ‘Whole Home’ approach to energy efficiency.

Keri Watkins, marketing manager for solar at Mark Group, said, ‘We’re committed to helping our customers make the most out of their solar PV systems, reducing their reliance on electricity from the grid and making their homes more comfortable as well as efficient.

The immerSun is an exciting product which does just that and we’re happy to recommend it to our solar customers who want to go one step further with their solar installation.’
