Dimplex pedal power for charity

Staff at Dimplex turned on the pedal power to raise over £3,000 for charity by taking part in the challenging Dorset Macmillan Bike Ride following a 60 mile route through rolling countryside.

Thirteen riders of different abilities took part to raise sponsorship funds for cancer charity Macmillan which supported nearly five million people last year.

Chris Davis, Dimplex Renewables business development director, and a keen cyclist, organised the team which included staff from a variety of different departments and locations, with one person even travelling from Scotland to attend the event.

‘The route really tested our stamina and endurance but everyone completed their target route. We’d like to thank everyone who kindly helped us to exceed our target fund and raise more than we’d expected for such a wonderful cause.’

There’s still time to make a support donation for Macmillan via the Dimplex Renewables team Just Giving pages at www.justgiving.com/dimplex-renewables.
