Recolight celebrates 2,000 collection points at RWM Exhibition

Recolight will be demonstrating its range of lamp recycling options at the Resource and Waste Management (RWM) Exhibition taking place 11th-13th September at the NEC Birmingham. In addition, Recolight is proud to be celebrating reaching a major milestone, having recently signed its 2000th collection point.

RWM, organised in partnership with CIWM, is a key European event within the area of resource efficiency and waste management. Recolight will be joining more than 650 exhibitors and over 100 expert speakers to consider how the latest developments in the industry will affect everyone from local authorities to retailers and recyclers.

Suzanne Castine, marketing manager at Recolight said, ‘Having attended RWM for the last three years, Recolight sees it as a great opportunity to drive awareness of its free lamp recycling services, and of the need to recycle waste lamps. We will be promoting the various free and convenient WEEE recycling options that we offer to businesses.’

Celebrating reaching the milestone of 2,000 collection points across the UK Castine added, ‘We have expanded our network of collection points and are pleased to have hit such a significant milestone. The figure of 2,000 includes 1,200 business and 800 consumer collection points.’

The Recolight team can be found at stand 19S49, where it will be offering visitors information and advice on the latest changes to the WEEE Regulations and how its services could save companies of all sizes money on their waste lamp recycling.

Those visiting Recolight’s stand over the course of the exhibition will be invited to answer a short three question survey relating to recycling, with the chance of winning a bottle of champagne. The findings will go towards helping Recolight have a better understanding of the issues faced by attendees from facilities managers to local council representatives.
