Polypipe wins largest ever megaduct project

Polypipe Ventilation has received its largest single order of Domus Megaduct high capacity ducting.

The order is from the Ardmore Group for Genesis Housing Association’s new mixed development in Stratford, East London.

150 High Street, Stratford is a landmark regeneration project for London, located at the approach to the 2012 Olympic Games. Providing 704 homes, the scheme includes seven blocks of between seven and 43 storeys, the tallest of which, at over 132m, will be one of the highest residential towers in London. The redevelopment will also provide a mix of flexible commercial space, community facilities and landscaping.

Domus Megaduct will be used throughout the site as a key part of the ventilation provision. A high capacity 220 x 90mm flat channel duct system engineered to exacting tolerances, Domus Megaduct provides optimum air flow for improved system performance, whilst also helping to eliminate condensation leakage.
