Marco supplies trunking solution at Leeds high school

Marco  has supplied  its  Elite trunking in charcoal grey as part of a new blackout drama room at Farnley Park High School in Leeds.

The £23m Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme is being carried out by Interserve and will see a host of new facilities for the secondary school. Marco is supplying cabling solutions to the electrical contractor across the large scale site and developed a bespoke colour specification to blend seamlessly with the new drama centre.

Pete Massey of Marco Cable management said, ‘At Marco, we are always keen to help customers achieve their needs and in this case, were able to provide a good colour match through our trunking that sits well with the wider environment of the drama room. It’s important for us as a company to be flexible and adaptable and deliver a solution that may well be bespoke.’

Other bespoke services offered by the company includes a cut to measure service, negating the need to make the cuts to the Marco products on site.

Pete added, ‘We are finding that customers are engaging with us more and more closely and asking whether we can produce different specifications that aren’t always included in our catalogue, demonstrating their confidence in both us as a business and our products.’

Construction work at Farnley Park High School is set for completion in July 2012. Once finalised, new facilities include a new main school hall, learning resource centre, activity studios and much more.
