John Tasker Electrical Services receives Amtech’s prize van

John was one of the many contractors to enter his company’s details onto Amtech’s new, free Contractor Directory. Following a huge response, his name was drawn from entries to win a package valued at over £23,000 (in association with Mercedes-Benz and Intercounty Truck and Van Ltd).

The prize was presented by Amtech’s chief executive, Mark Tindall, who commented, ‘This is a great prize and I am really pleased that it has gone to a company where it will make a real difference to their day to day work.’

John predicts that the new van will be a real asset to the business, ‘We’ve had a smaller van for some time and if we hadn’t won this prize we probably wouldn’t have got round to replacing it for quite a while. However, with more storage space we can carry more materials and spares for maintenance work, so there will be fewer trips to the wholesaler. That will result in time savings for us and a faster service for our customers,’ he said.

Amtech’s brand new Contractor Directory is available to all electrical, HVAC and plumbing contractors for free of charge, enabling them to increase their exposure to a wider audience and win more business. With over 45,0000 visits per month, the imminent directory will be hosted on the information portal LuckinsLive.com.
